The Curriculum Project Report, 2008
Excellence in public scholarship and practice is evidenced by faculty research and teaching, student learning, community outcomes and impacts, and institutional change on the college or university level. To help IA member campuses identify and work toward such excellence, Assessing the Practices of Public Scholarship (APPS) develops a range of tools for appropriately measuring the impact of campus-community collaborations.
We have posted the following resources to the APPS site:
2009 Conference Plenary documents ideas from IA's consortium about assessment that were shared at the 2009 national conference in New Orleans.
Selected Materials: Essays by Greg Jay & Rob Corser, 2009 features two essays on curricular excellence in public humanities and community-based design.
