As Communications Coordinator, Holly Zahn manages media, communications, and special projects for Imagining America, and plays a key role in capturing and articulating stories from the consortium. Previously, Holly was selected as a 2012-13 IA Engagement Scholar, during which time she collaborated on The New Activists: Students in the Community,” a web series which highlights students across disciplines that harness their knowledge to address issues in communities beyond the University.
As part of her Engagement Scholarship, Holly worked as a Production Coordinator at SU Arts Engage, an office dedicated to commissioning and presenting world-renown and diverse performing arts in Syracuse. She went on to serve as the Assistant Director of Project Development, and coordinate residencies and projects with artists such as Kronos Quartet, Ping Chong + Company, and Meryl Tankard. In 2012, Holly received a B.F.A. in Film from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts.
Holly currently works with Imagining America’s expanding network of staff, board, and consortium members to promote knowledge, empathy, and mobilization across divisive barriers through media storytelling.
