Jamie Haft is Program Coordinator of Imagining America. Her responsibilities include organizing local and national programs and contributing to IA publications. She was one of three national advisors to the 2007-2008 Curriculum Project research on higher education training in community-based arts, which is now part of Imagining America’s Assessing the Practices of Public Scholarship Initiative. Jamie is also a National Organizer for Voices from the Cultural Battlefront: Organizing for Equity, and serves as the editor of its website. Her article, “Voices from the Battlefront: Achieving Cultural Equity through Critical Analysis,” was recently published in Community Arts Perspectives, the Community Arts Research and Convening Project’s online journal. Haft graduated in 2007 with a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
