Paulina Camacho Valencia 

Paulina Camacho Valencia is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and scholar. Paulina found a home on the south side of Chicago after she and her family immigrated from central Mexico. Growing up on the south side provided a wide range of diverse experiences that offered a strong foundation for her artistic inquiry and social practice. Having received her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2012 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Paulina joined the visual arts staff at Benito Juarez Community Academy where she served as a teacher and the chair of the visual and performing arts department for six years.
