Paul Schadewald is the Senior Project Manager for Bringing Theory to Practice. He has two decades of experience in leading curricular civic engagement, community-based research, and public scholarship projects. He is a field leader for the Bonner Foundation Network and is on the Member Council for Impact Hub, MSP. He has contributed articles on faculty development to Community-Based Research: Teaching for Community Impact and Deepening Community Engagement in Higher Education. His co-edited book Digital Community Engagement, which won the book of the year award from the National Council on Public History (2019-2020) highlights case studies of higher education-community collaborations in digital public history and archiving projects. He received his B.A from St. Olaf College and his Ph.D. in history from Indiana University, Bloomington.
