Judy Pryor-Ramirez is a consultant for higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations. Over the past decade, she has led community engagement efforts at IA member institutions, The New School, Emerson College, and the University of Richmond.
Judy is the co-author of two digital humanities projects, Brooklyn Historical Society’s Crossing Borders, Bridging Generations curriculum (2015) and the Hidden Figures Syllabus project (2017). Her practitioner and scholarly work are both grounded in queer Xicana feminist Gloria Anzaldúa’s concept of a two-way movement — the belief that by changing ourselves, we change the world.
