We’re Hiring: IA Associate Director of Membership

This position is the heart of the Imagining America (IA) member network, working closely with other IA staff to achieve our Mission, Vision, and Values. The Associate Director of Membership will grow and maintain strong relationships with our 70+ member institutions, while dreaming up new ways to deepen engagement in the IA consortium of public scholars, artists, community organizers, and creative culture makers. This person will help IA better understand our institutional members, uplift compelling stories about their work, and create opportunities for connection and peer learning. 

This is a great job for someone seeking engagement, outreach, and member cultivation experience at the intersection of higher education and community organizing. The ideal candidate will have some experience growing and managing relationships, familiarity with community engaged and public scholarship in higher education, and a proven ability to work independently while keeping good data and responding promptly to inquiries. 

This is a full-time, career position with the University of California, Davis budgeted at $80,000. The position is hybrid with some requirements for being onsite and travel to IA events.
