Dr. Milmon F. Harrison is Associate Vice Provost for Academic Programs in Undergraduate Education at UC Davis. He is also a member of the faculty of the African American and African Studies Department where he has taught for more than 20 years. He is also a proud alumnus, having earned his undergraduate degree (sociology) at UC Davis. Dr. Harrison is an interdisciplinary scholar whose work focuses on African American religiosity, migration, and storytelling. He is currently working on a book about the Black presence in California’s Great Central Valley.
