Rebecca Castillo

Board Member

Rebecca Castillo is a graduate of Swarthmore College and the University of Southern California. She is currently a Special Projects Lead at the Los Angeles Times, where she manages initiatives to support early childhood literacy and make journalism more accessible for high school students. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, and exploring LA on foot.

Inspired by IA action research findings, the Public Scholar Conversation Cards and Organizing Culture Change Imagination Guide are pedagogic tools to inspire reflection and action.
