2025 IA National Gathering Call for Participation Information Session

Imagining America is pleased to announce that the Call for Participation (CFP) is now open for the 2025 IA National Gathering, taking place October 3-5, 2025 in partnership with New Mexico State University (Las Cruces, NM). 

We invite you to review the CFP and consider submitting a proposal to share on the theme of Providing Passage: Practicing the Worlds We Want. Proposals are due Monday, June 30, 2025.

In this virtual information session, IA staff will review the submission process for the 2025 IA National Gathering and answer any questions you may have.

The 2025 IA National Gathering invites participants to reflect and share on all the ways we can provide passage for one another, create transient havens for safety, and practice being together in ways that allow for deeper connection and fortify us for the journey ahead. We especially welcome attention to how art making, creative culture, performance, and storytelling provide passage for mutual understanding and collective liberation, and make it possible to move towards the seemingly impossible.
